I've never had anything other than chicken as an Indian or Chinese meal, Im not brave enough to try anything else.
Can't lose.
...Naans are too bulky and you can't eat as much sauce and rice.
Popadoms and mango chutney is nice.
the one thing that would taste nice with mango chutney. putrid otherwise. like plum jam
British Indian Resturant food is quite different than Indian cuisine.
When I went to India most of the resturauts were serving Chinese food .. lol
i have it with the usual popadoms, mango chutney, pilau rice, peshwari naan.
Btw people next week is National Curry Week - :yippe:
I think Naans are overrated too. Parathas all the way
If I'm cooking it myself I love kormas and baltis. Yum.
:thumb:
mmm i love all the side dishes, me and the bf have recently discovered okra and that's yummy. katchuri dhansak is the current favourite (lentil balls covered in pastry in spicy sauce), with a couple of side dishes, pilaw rice, garlic nan, onion bahji and popadom. MMMMMM think i may have indian tonight
love popadoms and chutney as well
I'm the same.
I love it with pilau rice and / or naan bread.
I also love chicken pakora and onion bhajis
coconut = sickness
I like the yoghurty stuff they always put with it, but not the raw onion thing.
Special fried rice with an Indian?
I want a curry now
