    Back from hospital now, thanks all for you good wishes...

    Still hurt when I drink, swallow saliva and still haven't been able to have a proper full meal, but much much better... and on painkiller 24/7 so it makes it easier...

    Those bastard didn't even gave me a nice shot of morphine... :(
    Just some shit morphine liquid to swallow...

    Ugh, poor bastard, I had a quinsy about 20 years ago, it's making me feel queasy just thinking about it.

    I imagine the NHS is a bit of a shocker if you're used to the French healthcare system?

    Well the first time I used NHS yeah... Now got used to it... lol... First ward all the staff was shit, second ward they were all lovely tho, which make it a lot easier...

    That's so true. I still have a scar on the back of my hand from a consultant's attempt in January. He gave up in the end and let a nurse do it, as he said my veins were too small (my veins are giant). She got it first time in the crook of my elbow and it healed within days.

    See now at my doctors, my doctor is the only person who can get blood out of me. All the nurses try 3 times dispite me telling them it won't come out the arm, only the hand works. THEN get the doctor!

    Ok, well some nurses are better than some doctors. The ones in hospital that do loads are really good.
