Does my avatar make people think I am female?

Because I have Sydney Moon as my avatar, I think some people are thinking I am female. On a couple of occasions I have been called babe, & not by female members. :grump:

    To assume you're a woman simply from your AV is like claiming that Dr Pirate is actually a real pirate. Or that I am, in fact, a galaxy of pernickety stars.

    I think the first posts I read of yours were in a thread about weight training or something. Call me sexist, but 9 times out of 10, if someone posts about that, they're a bloke. Your AV suggests your either a bloke, or one of those wannabe models that use any opportunity to put their photo shoot pictures up. I've been mistaken for a girl, but that's because of the actual content of my posts. I think that's worse tbh. :grump:

    yeah at first i thought you were a laydee, but recently i worked out, that this was not the case. however, i am a tad dippy as you may know, so i am probably very much with the few who thought this.
    and im the same as tweety, i call everyone babe...i even called my dad babe once, didnt sound too good, so didnt do it again :p
