Std?

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Having vaginal discharge, a bit of bleeding, and having severe pain when urinating (and a sore throat - but I'm not sure if thats related),
Could that be an STD having had unprotected sex in the last few days?
Thanks.

Only way to be 100% sure, is to visit your G.P.

    Good luck. :)

Wouldn't a GUM clinic be better?

I have a GP appointment next Wednesday
But am terrified I might have caught some infection
Could do with my mind putting at ease to be honest but if anyone has had similar and / or knows what it could be, please share.

it sounds like it could be an std. have a look here: http://www.thesite.org.uk/sexandrelationships/safersex/sexualhealth
of course only your doctor can diagnose you so make sure you go to your appointment. whatever the cause may be, std or normal infection, it can be treated so try not to worry.

It could be any number of things. You need to go to a sexual health clinic.

Not really a GUM clinic would be better, as the specialists in that field of medicine.
