i can post messages but they never show up when i read the threads back

whenever i go on to the message boards im automatically greeted with 'welcome Scarlet Pimpernell'.. i can post on any threads and they appear, but when i look at the thread title my last post never appears. my little sign thing also informs me that i last visited yesterday, when i visited today
