does anyone know the least expensive source for...

about 250 blank cds

Ive looked on ebay and its round about £18 per 100 (delivery included in this)

and an equal amount of empty plastic cases (thicker type rather than thinner)

Also, whats the easiest way to make my own front and back covers for cd cases? Is it best to just use normal paper and cut it to size after printing off the design to the correct size, or is it best to get one of those special cd labelling kits?

    CD-R's or CD-RW's?

I'd say either way you'll only be saving a few quid by shopping around.

    13p Each for cases:

Or £3.11 for 10 for CD's plus cases:

That's all I can find right now.

Actually, off the same website, these for 27p per disc:

Plus they're the nice cases with the clear back rather than the black back, so you can put some graphics behind the CD as well.

Covers - with some CD burning programs, you have the option of making a cover for your disk after burning it.

my own personal use, not going to be sold or anything.
wondered if those special insert papers are worth the money or if normal paper can do as good a job for not any more effort.

Personally, I'd just use normal printer paper.

Only use proper paper if they are going to be sold at the car boot or down the pub :D

If it's for your own use - what on earth will you do with 250 CD's?

And whatever it is - I'd buy blank white writable CDs and get an inkjet print that can print directly to a CD - and if for audio CD's some colours of dye play better then others insome cd players

because i have around 250 albums on my laptop which i want all written to CD so i can free up all that memory. And i want each album to be on its own cd in audio format.
