Then I think it is quite sad to not have any sort of goals to aim for.

a goal is a dream though, it's an aspiration..something you dream of being able to one day achieve.
That's what I thought too but didn't respond again incase that wasn't what the thread was about.
But yes, I agree with you.
Seriously ... I'd love to be a Racing Kayak coach, but that's impossible. I think possibly something in the police force. Or a writer, but that would require more imagination than I have.

Insteas, i shall complete my GCSEs next year, go on to either college or 6th form and go to uni to do this course http://www.uclan.ac.uk/facs/science/forensic/courses/policecriminal.htm then become a PCSO after a year of so of that working in London, apply and be accepted for a Police Officer and become the comissioner and change british policing for the better!!!
:thumb:
seriously though, what I do now (copywriter) only for a dead exciting young brand or agency, and on a lot more moolah. And with more holiday. And probably part time hours. And an expense account.
the new "American dream"?
My dream job is - and has pretty much always been - to be a midwife.
I do harbour dreams of having my own little farm though, and maybe when I get my shit together doing some writing. But mostly I'd like to be a wandering hobo, travel the world and maybe do a bit of witch doctoring and belly dancing on my travels so I can afford to eat :thumb:
So my dream job would be to market a charity-something that allows me to be creative, and make a difference!
Saving The Dolphins
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am sure you are aware that still in some parts of the world Dolphins and
Whales are still being hunted for food. As with most Western countries this
act has been outlawed in our waters, and many conservation projects are in
force at present to try and protect these wonderful creatures.
However I feel I must bring a truth to your attention, Dolphins have an
intelligence, which is comparable to ours, they have personality and
character, there are pretty much humans with fins!
They need your help, there is an annual slaughter of many types of Dolphins
and Whales by the PRO WHALING nations, this alone still disgusts me as I am
sure it disgusts you too.
But look at these links, what is happening in a remote fishing village in
southern JAPAN is truly shocking.

If you're going to spam, at least have the decency to start a new thread, you dumb fuck.
Soon as I saw that post I thought Quincy.
I might mooch and coast, dance for a bit (if I ever fix my back/leg prob), married, babies, housewife, internet based business, maybe paint a little, mooch and coast again, dance a bit more, some form of passive revenue, paint a little, dance a little... dunno really- something like that though.
That's not a job, it's a pleasure and a privilege
It's not totally out my reach, and one day I shall be doing my dream job. That's what ambition is for!!
In fact, I plan on creating an NGO to advocate for children, one that works for putting children's interests on top priority in the policy-making agenda.
Also, being a film critic. Or a writer.
That is, after I live in Europe for a while.
