in school, my groupd and i made a music video with a song of our choice. we chose Le Tigre - Deceptacon.

now ive posted the music video on myspace.

would there be a problem with copyright?

the music video was made for school. the video is ours. the song isnt. plus we like Le Tigre. its more of a tribute to their talent in making annoying but lovely music.

would i get bitched by someone for this?

    For the most part, nobody cares unless you're making obscene amounts of money from it. :)

    Worst case is that you'll get an email asking you politely to take it down.

    You're not making money from it, they're normally alright about it.

    i am a member of le tigre, im not at all happy by this blatant copyright infringement. unless you send me five english pounds in an envelope every day i will take legal action.
