Deviated septum

Anybody had the surgery for a deviated septum? With or without the rhinoplasty? I've talked about it once with this Dr and once with my other one and they both agreed it would be a good idea. Not needed, but from what I suffer every day, it would be highly recomended. I've been contemplating it for a copule years now but havn't done anything on it. Now before I must start paying my own medical bills I'm really starting to think about it

So I thought I'd ask if anybody has any experience with the actual surgery.
