not sure if this is the best forum but someone can tell me to shift it if needs be.

I was getting my hair cut at T&G's earlier today when the stylist mentioned his friend was in need of a hair model to do some colour work and would i be interested? It's free, and all I need to do is make sure the patch test is A OK.

Question is, do I tip her or anything when I go down next week? What do you think's the right sorta etiquette in this situation? :confused:

    Not if it's free. How would you know how much to tip? It'd be worse to slip her a couple of quid than just thank her for the freebie, imho.

    i get my haircut for free so usually either slip her a fiver or just buy her a drink at the pub later.

    i think its only nice to do so.
