I disagree, yes there are times when you can't help looking like shit and the longer the relationship goes on u care less. BUT it is on my mind to always look my best, no matter what length of time ive been in a relationship, ive always put more effort into my looks than if i was single.

Yeah i have to say i let myself go a bit when i'm single. When i'm with someone i have to be perfect or i get paranoid.

    Hmm

Pro - Someone to take money off :p
Con - Having to see them all the time (i'm lazy, what can i say!)

I am the other way. I have to keep myself looking good when I am single (otherwise who is gonna like you?!) and I normally let myself go (a bit) when I am in a relationship.

 This is how I feel.

If I have a boyfriend, I make much more of an effort. I always want to look nice for them.

This doesn't mean to say I don't make an effort when I'm single, I just don't go out of my way to look nice.

i just think a boyfriend should love his girlfriend regardless, when she really lets herself go as in doesn't care about her appearance at all then it's a bit of a problem. But i don't see why you should always have to look nice for them, they should think you look nice anyway!

hairy in the winter, smooth in the summer - partner or no partner.

    it makes sense.

Pros: Someone to make you feel like the most special person in the world, giving you loads of confidence.

Cons: Not being able to go on the pull with your best mates. I really miss flirting with men with I'm attached.

They probably do, but its a sign of respect and love to want to make an effort surely. I dont freak if my boyfriend sees me looking muntery first thing in the morning, but I would never let myself go, just because he wasnt bothered. Attracting someone isnt just about making first impressions before youve "got" them.
If i didnt give a shit whether he thought i was pretty or not, then id say i didnt care about the relationship anymore.
