    The Institute of Physics have some pretty good careers advice leaflets for physics, I suggest you ask them if that's what you are interested in.

    A career in physics is for the really dedicated. Probably end up as professors working on the next big thing to change our lives, whilst the rest of the world seems totally oblivious.

    I really admire physicists. One of my only regrets in life was not taking it further than Alevels.

    Most people end up in computer related fields, or just about any other position that needs brilliant people.

    BSc + MSc + PhD + post doc research + industrial experience (all in physics / specialism therein) = a university teaching career... depends what aspect of physics you want to pursue? ...
