Should I just leave it?

About a month and a half ago now I left my job.
When I first started up there, £30 was taken away from my first pay cheque as a deposit for my work uniform.
When I left I returned my uniform and I was told that the £30 would be put into my bank account. To be honest, its been that long now I've doubt they've even still got my bank details!
I've still not got it back. I've rang gawd how many times.
Shall I give up or shall I just give asking them for it?
I know its only £30 but I dunno, the fact I'm entitled to it is bugging me.

you're entitled to it therefore you should nag (which you shouldn't have to) until you get back what is rightfully yours.
Aye, £30 is nothing. Don't worry about it.
Can you mail me a cheque for £30 please?
I've just rang again and they claimed he was in a meeting as soon as I mentioned my name
i think you'll find they probably have to!
it's probably when she worked for mcdonalds.
No its here....www.thestrandpreston.co.uk
I've been talkin to the manager about it all. There is someone above him but I don't know his name. He's really messing me around. It wouldn't be worth taking to court would it over £30?
It is independently owned I think by someone above him.
The manager isn't going to going to give me the details for his boss is he?
Bug him and bug him.
Why not roll in there and bother them?
What is the small claims court?
MoneyClaim
I have just walked down there and I barely got through the door. He took the £30 out of his own wallet and he just said "cya". He was really rude but to be honest, I don't care. I've got my money.
Thank gawd I can actually move on from that place now
My bank took money off me (FOR NO APPARENT REASON  ) the other week, meaning I couldn't pay my bills. I phoned and they tried to fob me off saying it was my fault. I phoned twice more at the end of the day and they told me the manager wasnt in til next week and therefore they couldn't authorise anything.
I went in the next day and demanded my money back. Was in my account before I'd even got home from town. The louder you shout and the more you bug them, the more likely they are to get fed up and give in
