There isnt much news on it yet, but someone has been arrested in relation to the cash for peerages scandel.

    Apparently it's just a headteacher.

    Oh well, there always has to be a fall guy.

    Shame it wasn't someone a bit more high profile... I'm sure Alistair Campbell could have been perfect. ;)

    For a moment, I almost got excited. Finally, was my faith in the political process about to be rejuvenated? Was I about to hear that Mr Blair had his collar felt by the old bill for selling peerages? This is a man whom, after all, should be in prison by now for leading this country into an illegal war. Imagine how upset I was to read that it was just some silly headteacher they'd arrested instead. :(
