    KHSS you don't want to know too much about the manfacture of foie gras because it's godawful and distressing if you're an intelligent, sensitive veggie ( ;) ) but basically it comes down to force feeding the birds through a tube in order to achieve a grotesquely enlarged liver which is what the foie gras is. But it's alright, say the manufacturers, because geese and ducks don't have a gag reflex and they can make a big fat wedge out of treating their fowl cruelly. Oh, alright then. :impissed:

    I see your point but they are probably treated a lot better than most cows that we eat. If it didnt like the beer, you wouldnt be able to force it.

    i spend my last 30 quid on a ticket to see what turned out to be very crap gig. the band were good but the managment and the crowd were vile. and i ended up ruining everyone with me's night. plus it was in the middle of nowhere and i decided to wear heels which really hurt my feet by the end of the night...sorry rant over...

    what exactly is in that sandwich?
