    They're pretty girls, some of them, but I just get quite concerned that girls that young are setting themselves up as lust objects. But then, I suppose that's what you want when you're in your late teens - that's what you think will make people care for you.

    God, I sound like such an old woman, and I'm hardly into my 20s!

    Well am nearly 20, not a size 10 and defo not 5'3'' so not the ideal model but they said they want a more 'real life' model!

    BLEURGH. There was at least one "17 this year" caption on there, that seems extremely young to me (yes, I know they're strictly "legal") I feel ill..

    also quite upset that I even went on the NoTW site, and was then visually assaulted by the visage of Jesse Wallace :crying:

    I've just been on their website and oh dear god. Thats all I'm going to say. I mean, all the girls on there are really pretty but none of them are bigger than a size 10. Most of them are size 8 or 6 and I find that pretty disturbing especially when some of them are taller than me and a size 6!!! I mean, if they were smaller and a size 6/8 fair enough but some of them are really tall.

    I would never ever go for something like that. I don't understand why girls do to be honest.

    there was 1 girl size 12/14 who was miss nottingham last year....all the rest are no bigger than a 10

    There are so many women and girls out there who are judged becuase they don't "fit in" to the Social ideal of what women should look like. Girls all over the country commit suicide and are depressed because of it. Competitions like these just don't help that at all. Especially when all the entrants appear to be size 6/8. We really haven't moved on that much when it comes to social perceptions have we??

    omg, i saw one size 10 on there! the rest were 8 or 6, yeh that gives out the right message to young girls, if your skinny, your beautiful!

    There's one girl who's more than a 10. ONE size 12, ONE. There's also a girl on there who's my height and an apparent size 6. Like, seriously, what the fuck?! I'm a size 12 and apparently I'm "skinny". Size SIX?! *shudders at the thought*.
