So, I'm hopefuly going to rent out my spare room.

What do women look for when renting a room in a flat?

What should I have on / out of show?

What makes nice finishing touches?

um ... yeh, help!

why women? because I can't invisage myself living with a guy!

yep, regardless of the gender of the potential lodger, make sure that the place is tidy :yes:. Nobody likes living in a pig sty..at least I know I wouldn't.

Air the room out, by opening the window, as there may be a smell to the room which you are use to but someone looking around might notice.

oh and leave dirty washing and washing up etc out of show! Or just clean it..

if its gonna be furnished use plain things that way it is easier for someone to envisage them putting their own mark on it. oh and put bed covers on the bed(just while your showing people around).

Well tidy and clean it. Keep and lewd piccies outta the way (porn etc). Make the bathroom and kitchen look and smell nice and thats the basics. Just clean, tidy and doesn't reek. As long as there's no major problems with the room you should be fine.

make sure the dishes are done properly...
make sure it doesn't smell bad...
having a nice bathroom help...
don't have picture of naked women everywhere...

provide a free vibrator with the room...

Don't advertise for just women, you'll scare them all off as it gives a real pervy feel to it. Just pick only the women to be potential roomies

And yes, be clean and not bland, let there be some color and accessories around.

nah, what lipsy said. just make sure it's clean and fresh looking. she needs to look at it and think 'ooh my such and such would look lovely there'. also make sure it smells nice.
