Wag TV has been asked to make a one hour programme about mistaken paternity and DNA testing for Channel Four Documentaries. The film will aim to tell the touching story of how DNA testing has affected one family's relationship. - Here's what they're after:
We are ideally looking for a father and child who would be willing to tell their own story. The person we are looking for would need to have found out fairly recently that the child they have been raising is not biologically their own and the child would hopefully be at an age where they could vocalise their own opinion. They must want to remain in a parental role despite the news as we want the story to illustrate that being a parent runs deeper than just genetics.
