    What's up. I had to turn my computer off there now for a second, when I tried to log in it said the nickname was already in use. Do I just log in now with a different name yea?

    no there isnt anything wrong with the occasional ":D" but 6 lines of mulitcoloured ":D" 's get annoying and well, it wasn't the 1st time you'd done it.

    You need to open the options box, enter username, then go to server and choose quakenet. OK and close that. CLick on the thunder icon in the top left and you'll be connected. Once its stopped you need to type '/join #thesite' and you'll be in.

    could also use chatzilla instead of mirc.. though you'll probly get booted if you say something uncool when any of those cool ops are around.. (such as "hi" or ":D") not worth the effort :p

    I know what he means, but we're not using the registered name. The registered name is 'thesite.org'. There are many domains (and registered names) containing 'TheSite'.

    I don't even think it's possible to register things that are common words, unless used in a specific context to identify them (ie, adding .org on the end).

    It's like saying using a channel called #porn is infringing on www.porn.com, www.porn.co.uk, www.porn.xxx, etc.
