Is it weird that I"m curious of the outcome.
Well, to keep you updated: In the last couple of days I've been normal.

And, Kentish: I do go at night, but I've always done so. Not every night, but often.

So is it down to the winter then??

Coz I noticed towards the end of last year, I'd do my usualy routine of going to bed, including going to the toilet beforehand, I'd go to bed, and I'd sleep for maybe an hour,3omins, 20mins even 10 mins and then I'd feel like I need a piss.

It wasn't busting to go like, but it was there and wouldn't go away. I found I was clenching. I go and then then back to bed fine.

I think it went away round Xmas time, but now its back again. Going to the bog after about an hour of sleep.

    Whats up with that?

Can you just get diabetes at some point? I thought either you had it from birth or not.
And the "harm" is that I'd have to pay for a test, although little.

Yes you can get it at any age - I know someon who was diagnoise at age 37

the HARM is you can go (eventually) blind from diabetes as well as lots of other complications.

I guess... It's not been as cold lately, and I seem to be normal again.

I do have a swig of drink before I got bed, but I never remember having to get up in the night before. I mean I have done but it was rare like.
