U2
Franz Ferdinand
Stereophonics
Manic Street Preachers
Franz Ferdinand are okay in short doses, as are the 'phonics. But both received so much bloody airtime that I quickly hated virtually all of their stuff.
I've started to enjoy the earlier Manics stuff again over the last few years, but I don't think they've done anything worthwhile for a good while now.
I like some U2 songs, but - as with Coldplay - I find most of it drab, dreary and depressing. But both are hugely popular, and have been for a number of years now - so I'm happy to accept that my opinion is not the general consensus of listeners.
I'm a big fan of The Darkness! Though I tend to only really like half of each album...
No - i don't like you anymore.
(i have got a wink off the keyboardist from Maximo Park though.. )
Coldplay
The Libertines/Babyshambles/Pete Doherty
Bloc Party
Sigh. I think anyone who says that has trouble separating what Pete does/what gets said about him from the actual music. Though yes, the 'shambles album could have been so much better.
The Paddingtons - loathe the town from where they came from but rely upon it for fame. And they cannot even nearly play their instruments, songs all sound the same and The Urchin Scene was never cool eh, Dominic Masters.
Blackwire.
Keane.
Kubb.
Oh god. I cannot STAND either of these two.
I take it you disagree or something? I admit, I disagree.
For me personally:
James Blunt (ok, he was good until everyone started raving about him)
U2
Darkness
Coldplay
Green Day
I definitely disagree mate. If my username/avatar doesn't already give that away.
you're having a laugh right? coldplay, 'original'
Radiohead did whatever Coldplay are trying to do years ago...
Agree with the Coldplay/James Blunt thing here.
errgghhh dull.
I can cope with Coldplay, and I do like a couple of James Blunts songs.
