Moulin Rouge (i defy anyone not to cry at this film)
    ET
    Garden State
    Crash

theres loads more, thats all i can think off the top of my head, but then im a soppy git

Moulin Rouge: I didn't cry any time I watched it. But then again I think its a terrible film, I've only seen it three because friends used to insist on getting it out on girly nights in :grump:

Garden State however, I cried at that.

I also cried at LOTR: Return of the King, and I know I'm not the only one because my Mum does too :D

God give me a war film or something where someone dies and i'll start sniffling. E.G King Arthur, Lord of the Rings. I get carried away with the storyline  Only time i cry to be fair as i'm the most unemotional person normally :chin:

Was talking about sad films today with some friends actually. Loads of films make me cry.

Titanic always makes me cry (even though I've seen it sooo many times) and I agree it's the old couple that set me off! Them and the wee boy and girl getting put to bed.

The Notebook had me sobbing! Really embarrassingly loudly (I was watching it on my own tho so was ok).

    In America was really sad.

I always cry at ET at the bit at the start where the spaceship goes off without him.

    Beaches obviously.

Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe.

A Walk to Remember was a sad film too.

That's my mum's favourite film... she starts crying at the beginning and sobs all the way through....

And the reason why Titanic upsets me is nothing to do with the Jack/Rose story... it's all those 1500 people who died, and the fact that it's a true story. I'm not sure how anyone can not be moved by how all those people must have felt and how scared they must have been.

i got the same thing watching the pianist. :crying:

i have to admit, i did laugh a bit at titanic, cause it was so poorly written, but i then felt bad for laughing.

erm titanic, i mean everytime i watch it, i cry cause jack really shouldnt have started knocking off a girl who's to stubborn (and lardy) to fit on a bit of wood

and that he could have died a more painful death, like that dude who jumped and hit the propellor, that was cool

kate winslet had a lovely figure (which is more realistic to female figures in those days) makes a change from twiggy thin models.

FERN GULLY! Damn Tim Curry's evil black gooey digger-y ness!

I remember crying about The Secret Garden, and Fairytale: The Movie when I was younger, but now I watch them and laugh.

I almost cried when I thought Gandalf had died in LOTR 1.
I can't really think of anything else.

Some people had already read the books when they watched this and laughed, and got some very strange looks from the people in the cinema.. :p
