US Government vs. Google

The internet search engine Google is resisting efforts by the US Department of Justice to force it to hand over data about what people are looking for.
Google was asked for information on the types of query submitted over a week and the websites included in its index.

    Well good luck to the US government I doubt Google is going to let's that go that easily...

    And as for porn site, that their own fucking fault the .xxx have been offered for years and would make it much easier to deal with what is porn or not, by just saying all porn sites have to use .xxx

    And here again we can see Micro$hite is kissing some asses...

    It's Google's information, so they have the right to withhold it don't they? If it such information is needed as evidence in a legal case fo instance then, yeah, Google should give it to them, but if the Government is just being nosy, then good on Google for not giving it to them.

    So, the US government already has the information and now wants to do this publicly for some reason.......

    If anyone really thinks that it's not already monitored and this is just to make the spying look good "legal" they are a moron.

    True, it's not like they don't have any info at all...

    After all even bush went against the US laws and put shit loads of people under surveillance and tapping their phones... But well he is still there...
