Starting Combined Pill

Hey,

I recently started on the Combined Pill. As told to, I started it on the first day of my period and haven't missed it since. The thing is, I haven't come off my period and it's been two weeks. I'm away from home at the moment so don't know where to go for advice.
Is this common to have an extended period when just starting the pill?

This is common; it should stop after you have had your first placebo week. If it doesn't stop at that point then get advice.

Its quite common. Also, don't be alarmed if for the next few months you start bleeding at odd times. Break through bleeding or light spotting is normal. Good luck with it.
