When I first started taking drugs?
They are really starting to piss me off now as It seems to be all I do week in week out whether its pills, coke speed whatever the fuck I go through my little phases on there is hardly ever a week (or 6 days for that matter) that I seem to go without.
Now obviously Im on that new year depression bollocks that we all get but its more than that.
It just bores me to tears now all of it and I really don't know how I stop or if I ever will!
Anyway, HAPPY FUCKING NEW YEAR! :banghead:

    been there.
it does kind of become a dead end routine and can be a great hinderance to the rest of your life.

the good news is the vast majority of people who use ...go through this and then tone it down or stop.

cunt of a habit alright, i know exactly how you feel

my advice would be to find something else interesting, something to take up your time and take your mind off drugs .. now that i think about it, since i started going with the girl im with now i've considerably cut down on the amount of drugs i take, and not even thought twice about it

and also i think its easier to aim to cut down, most people turn round and say to completly stop doing things but in reality that doesn't usually work, the vast majority of people ive come across end up back to square one .. just try to change from regular drug abuse to occassional drug use

good luck whatever you do, it did my fuckin head in for ages

I toned it down, or at least thought I had. When I say that I mean I pay for it all and stopped 'ticking' but the only reson It's toned down is because it had to be and if I look at it all honestly it wasn't really me that toned it down it was situations that made me have to turn it down.

Thats the problem! When I analyse it all in my head I am sure that the reason I do it all is because I have no girl! And that's been the case for a long time. It's all kind of a substitute for the best high there is!

If you started drug taking recreationally and now feel it's an uncontrollable habit that's having a negative effect on your life then, I'd say it's time to take stock and change your drug use. Either, as others have already suggested by cutting down or by stopping altogether- easier said than done I'm sure. Good luck with what you do and remember that realising that you have a problem is the first step in the solution.

At least you're catching onto your "habits"
If you arn't in total control of your use, like you feel some yearning for doing stuff alot, watch out. I've been avoiding doing drugs that I crave to do. As a result, i've become pretty passive about them.

Yeh I used to be like that, even if I didn't want to or if I was just in the pub or even the streets I'd end up taking loads of pills...bit pointless really but yea you're on your first step to recovery...drugs are much much more fun when it's a novelty buzz

I was like that for a period, the routine became tiresome, the high was losing its appeal and i couldn't be bothered with comedowns. Gave up weekly consumption of coke and E in May and only take either for special occasions (ie. new year  )

Probably a couple of months from now you'll have had enough. I didn't have any problems stopping at all, in fact I rarely even feel the desire.
