Men's coats

I'm wanting to buy a coat as a present for Xmas for someone, however being new to the UK - I am at a loss as to where to begin. I've had a look online obviously, but can't really find anything that would suit. I've tried Hugo Boss, Ben Sherman, John Lewis, Debenhams, FCUK.

Any suggestions - I want to spend about £100 - £150 or so.

What kind of style are you looking for? I'm not sure of their prices, but Next had nice ones about 6 weeks ago when the other half was looking for one.

Debenhams normally have loads in and Next do nice ones as moonarcanum said.

Cheers. That's given me some good ideas. I think something classic and woollen as opposed to a nylon is the order of the day.

I have also looked at http://www.schottnyc.com/ which has some very nice jackets but unfortunately not able to get it before Xmas now.
