Cold, so cold

We're (apparently) about to have a big freeze. According to most of the press, starting from tomorrow, most of the country is going to be caked in snow and icy conditions. Click here...

Who's looking forward to the (allegedly) freezing cold weather that's on its way?
Beep boop. I'm a bot.

    I am.

I love freezing cold weather. I love snow and ice. It's wonderful.

I have a big coat, a big hat, and a big scarf. And a big boiler. It'll be great.

I love snow. I wish it was how it used to be. I remember there would be tons of snow long before thanksgiving (last thursday of november) There would be snow on haloween. Now, we had snow this morning but its all melted now. Theres snow up north, but thats quite recent. Damn global warming :|

I love at my parents house, just flick the switch and sit next to a nice warm fire.

Ditto. Coat. Hoodie. Hat. Scarf. Warm clothes. Living in Halls with GREAT heating (it's the hottest kitchen in the North, seriously!) that's included in our bills :D
A big lake to watch freeze, camera to take pics of the snow.
    I can't wait! :hyper:

Andy is right. Its not cold till the windchill makes it errrr... -20ish is pretty chilly I guess ;) And the snow is piled 2 feet. You have to snowblow your driveway or else you wont even be able to get your car out of the garage. When there are warnings on the weather channel for the cold. When you are at an outside football game and the ultra enthusiasts are wearing t-shirts, thats when it starts to get nippy.

Only could a british man (or whatever you want to be called) say that and be taken seriously... kind of... from other british people at least. :pP_663393_1436986.JPG

i used to like snow and ice until i got a car and a proper job.

if i had someone else to de-ice the motor and i got paid for snow days then i probably still would.

    :grump:

I love it... it means you can snuggle up in big 'jamas and watch TV and drink hot chocolate or tea and watch TV and ahhh I love it.

I don't even mind it so much on the way to work... maybe one day the trains will be cancelled and I can stay at home/be really late. :D

Haha. Still nice and warm over here. In fact, seeing as I'm about 13km from the Ecuator, there aren't really any seasons. So it's 20-30 degrees all year. Nerr nerr to all of you.

Not this high up they don't. We're almost 3,000m above sea level so the most dangerous things that lives this high up are the pollution and the taxi drivers.

I imagine in the jungle you can get some fookin scary bugs.
