like ms merkel who has got the chancellorship of germany, whilst at the same time whose right wing parties (who won the election just about) 'compromised' and have none of their planned tax cuts going through, and theyre having a rise in VAT
how lovely, her desperation for power has meant shes given up all hope of actually carrying out her manifesto...... (even if i thought she was barmy bringing in a flat tax or general income tax cut) - the new coalitoin government, won't even contemplate reducing the power of their trade union
and the VAT increases will apparantly help their economy
it only screws over the low income people
effectively, we're got the same social democrat government with a different leader
