I'm sure everybody on this site has received compliments about their appearance at some time or other. Whether or not you believe them is your choice, of course. Let's say that someone calls you "good-looking", for example. And let's say that someone was the same sex as you. Would you be offended at all? Or bothered that someone of your own sex thinks you're attractive? Just curious.

Answering my own question, I'd be flattered to receive a compliment like that from a woman. Slightly embarrassed to receive it from a man, but not offended at all. :)

    Definitely no complaints at all, it's nice to be paid a compliment every now and again, especially if it's not something you exactly hear everyday.

    Why would anyone mind. People have their own sexual preferences, if they happen to be the same sex as you but find you good looking then you should be flattered. It would be a different matter if they grabbed your ass and asked for a hard fuck, where a fist to the face would follow ;)

    I seem to get complimented more by girls than guys. I'm all for compliments regardless of the source. If I see a girl with nice hair or whatever I usually go upto her and say (usually when I'm drunk). But I've found sometimes they look at you as if you're taking the piss out of them when it was completely genuine.

    I love being eyed-up when I'm feeling tired and a bit ick. Male or female, I don't care.

    It was just a bit odd when the 17-year-old lass in the sandwich shop was doing it. Must've been the fact I was in my full Court suit looking important.
