Board problems

As I'm sure some people have noticed we're having a bit of bother with our boards database at the moment. In specific technical terms it's behaving like a very naughty boy.

We will endevour to slap it back into shape, though over the next few days there may still be some problems, and we may be looking at a day or two (!!) of downtime to resolve the problems.

So, sorry about this - we're doing what we can.

    i had to watch a very annoying documentary on ozzy osbourne because of all these problems....i feel deprived.

    Funny I just saw similar problems happen in PHPBB forums. But vBulletin is a bit more obscure with error codes and messages so I can only imagine what's wrong.

    I'm thinking it's some minute config setting. A decent server should be able to handle this volume of traffic.

    erm i hope you dont have any dataservers in scotland, cause it doesnt matter how much of a naughty boy the databases are, its illegal to smack children in scotland, as far as im aware
