How can you find out how much you are going to be taxed from your salary?

    Isn't there a calculation you can make? for example:

    If you have x amount of salary, times it by 0. x ?

    I normally just assuming that 1/4 of your total will end up going on tax + ni.

    www.iresign.co.uk has a salary indicate, u type in your annual and it shows how much will go where

    Tax and NI isn't the largest chunk out of my salary... my pension is :(
