If you *ripped* it, you would know :| You'd be in severe pain and hospitalized. Ever torn a muscle? You know when its torn as opposed to hurting.

I would assume the pain to be crippling. But if your so worried that you did something as extrordinary as ripping your stomache and still live thru it, why dont you run yourself to the ER.

If you've coughed up blood, see a doctor.

If you did, the stomach acid would be digesting you. Very highly unlikely.

    Docs tbh

You NEED to see a DOCTOR! You can't rip your stomach open, the stomach muscles are too strong.

If you are coughing up blood then it goes without saying that you need medical attention asap.

Never seen any, and no I am not a doctor. But it can happen.

Drinking game puts Perth man near death

A 21-year-old Perth man is lucky to be alive after having his stomach ripped open during a beer-skolling game using a home-made device powered by an electric pump.

The drinking game at a 21st birthday party in a southern suburb 10 days ago went badly wrong, rupturing the man's stomach and forcing beer straight into his abdomen.

...I knew something wasn't right soon after I drank from it. I started spewing up red stuff and was in a lot of pain."

gastric rupture is possible. i don't know the specifics, but it can be a complication of long-term bulimia.

as far as i know it kills you fairly quickly though...

thanks. and not quite. i phoned nhs direct and the advisor phoned for an ambulance so i had to get checked out. okay. so to answer my own question: it is possible. and a tear in the stomach lining is a ulcer and if you damage your stomach lining its gastric atrophy and you can damage your stomach lining and it heal on its own, etc etc etc... anyway, i'm relitively okay now which is the main thing. it was really scary though and that was a lot of pain. - i think i've learned my lesson tbh. :)
