Remotely control friend`s PC

I want to be able to see my friend`s pc screen and take control of the mouse - he`s only got dial up though and MSN`s ask for remote assistance aint working

been looking at VNC servers, is there one that I can email and preconfigure to just contect to my PC or email me his IP address, etc - he knows next to nothing about PC`s and trying tohelp him over the phone is annoying because he takes 10 years to tell me what`s happening or even click a button

Well you could always use a trojan horse. Its considered a virus because it gives you access to his computer visually and you can control his mouse, but if he approves its not illegal.
