Floppy Drive

Ok well ive got a computer with a floppy drive and i went to go use it last night and it wernt there in My computer i looked in device manger and its half there its got the controler but it dont say that its really there any ideas on how i can get it to work? its all plugged in i opened the case of the computer and looked!

    The Add Hardware component in the Control Panel has a troubleshooter. It might be worth trying.

    Tryed that didnt help i think im missing the actual drivers for the floppy disk because on another laptop which has a floppy i looked and it said the flopp controler and then floppy A: disk drivers so any ideas on where i could find a site that would search my system ?
