    Well, it's not sad - he needed his peace, but it makes you think about his great accomplishments and then feel a bit quasey.

    Poor chap, he only got a small number of those he had evidence on prosecuted. But plenty for one man's work.

    He was more important than just catching nazis (important though it was). He was a living exemplar of the notion that some crimes are just to bad to forgive or forget and that some people should never be allowed to sleep easy in their bed - it doesn't matter whether that's Eichman, Pinochet, Honecker or a 'soldier' who lined up some prisoners and shot them in the head.
