the main problem in london

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
is residential housing being everywhere - but without the extra amenities to support it

agree? cause in old london we drove through it (the long way as mum got lost) and there was sod all for kids to do there let alone people who enjoy going out and socialising without going to a trendy bar or coffee shop

ah but in london its the sole main problem

other parts of country have it too id suspect but in london its gonna bring up a generation of deliqients, no wait it already has

not every kid had £5 a time to go cinema on cheap days when 5 years ago it was £2.50 on weekdays

and theres nowhere to play and just hang out away from adults that you can just go to and not have to register or anything (like my park which i grew up playing in has no longer a park-keeper and regular bobbies etc around it so the normal kids cant do anything witohut being beaten up and mugged by the twats) so course theres more kids on streets corners or sitting on their arse playing video games all day

be worried, very worried when them guys from London arrive

cant understand why you called them delinquents ?

Also, what you said about kids on the streets is nationwide. Its a vicious circle cos there are places to go but as a parent it costs a fortune to let your kids go places and when you have a couple of kids it just costs a small fortune so thats why the kids are on the streets.

the main problem with london is there are nearly nine million fucking people living there!
the country i live in ...the whole country note ...has around two million people.
having gotten used to sharing my space with two million people ...your space scares the shit out of me!
why people would want to be herded into such a cramped cage is beyond my understanding ...and yet still they come ...

No, the whole motherfucking UK is like it. We need change, we need a political party who will actually DO SOMETHING. Sadly, I don't forsee this happening. So tempting to move abroad, but I really want to do something about it. :crying: What ever happened to the dear old UK?

You don't want them to do "something". You want them to do the "right" thing, doing "something" is what gets us in this mess...

I don't necessarily agree. Maybe its because parents let their kids run riot??? My parents have brought up 5 children in London and never had a problem. There are parks and stuff near to everyone, sometimes its just about taking the time to bring them there. Admittedly London does not have he facilities that other smaller towns have, in the knowledge that its safer, but I disagree in that London has less to do. There are lots to do, free and paid, its just a question of time and effort.

which part of london may i ask - in the east of london you jsut see housing and more housing, and its not just about fun things to do, is there more schools and hospitals and acocomodate the extra people moving into london, no cause its all being turned into luxury flats etc instead of simple apartments
