Trousers shrunk in the wash!!

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
I bought some cord type stretchy black trousers from River Island a couple of weeks ago, all was fine until they shrunk in the wash!! Anyone know any way of 'unshrinking' clothes, or is it impossible?

Thanks

nope, not possible, if they've properly shrunk. or do you mean they've just shrunk a little bit, and you have to do acrobatics to get them on? if it's the latter, just wearing them a little might stretch them back out.

however if they're now looking more like barbies trousers than your trousers, you've permanently altered the make-up of the fibres, and there's no going back.
