    I had to work today too. In a dead shop. Also going up and down stairs and moving stock around. And putting the new stock up.

    I did get £10.80 an hour though (w00t at pay rise and double pay ;p).

    It's because where I work is the ultimate in coolness.

    I got paid for sitting at home all day on my birthday, too. I get free drinks while I'm on shift, as do my faaaamily (well, coffee), two free packs of coffee free a month, 30% off coffee/drinks/food when I'm not on shift, 20% off non-food...and other stuff which I forget.

    Utter win.

    My ex got me 10% off my £10 phone top-up once. That made me larf.

    yeh i used to like that, getting £1 free of credit. :yippe:

    you have to spend over £3 to qualify for the discount and the other day i'd spent £2.70 or something and the person who served me said why don't you go and get a chocolate bar or something 'cause you'll get it free. so i did, and it was yum 'cause i didn't pay for it. :yum:

    Although I get free muffins and whatever else I want at the end of the day if there's any left...and I get free smoothies during the day...

    I DON'T KNOW WHICH IS BETTER ;(.

    They are never stale, madam. They're kept in a cold glass cabinet all day.

    You really think we'd keep them til the end of the day if they were stale, with the possibility that a customer might want one ;p?
