    Skint usually means being deep in your overdraft with no prospect of any money appearing anytime soon...well it does in my book anyway

    I reckon I'm skint at the mo but then I'm very careful and budget for going out and things instead of buying music or (non-study-related) books out of my loan. After all, there's no law that says we have to struggle and not have fun, right?

    But then I also save some of my loan. I guess I'm just really careful.

    I'm an incredibly skint student at the moment. Yay :yeees: But, I am here. Also, like piccolo, I budget for things/save. Hence why I am here now, and not living in a cardboard box despite having no job.

    I'm skint but i can still find a quid or two to get pissed when i need to. Being a student you learn resoursefullness for situations like these therefore despite having no money i'm still absolutley wankered at 4am after a friday night out.

    Anyway its the summer ... most students have been working for months!

    Nah... I go out Saturdays. And I usually end up paying for drinks, as my bfs too lazy to get a job and instead relies on the money he gets from college (which is non-existent is the holidays). Grrrrr.

    Once you get to a certain level of debt money is just a minus sign on a bank statement with lots of zeroes after it! What's there to moan about? Get another overdraft, apply for another hardship grant and your good to go! I'm not going to be moaning until the time comes to pay all of it back!

    Lol, im a student, and yes I find that I become skint very very easily, I see Skint as a lack of funds in the next 4-5 days / 2 weeks
    I am relatively skint, I have enough to live on and to be able to go out, when going out to the pub/clubs i take the bare minimum with me so I know I can get a few drinks, and a bit of food, and about a fiver extra just incase things get desperate

    When I go out pubbin' on a Friday night, i find my money go's a tad fast though lol! Clubs im fine at, pubs just burn money!
