Who here has done the worst job ever? Mine had to be working as a dinner lady in a public school (this state comprehensive boy needed the money!). Got so much abuse it was untrue - some kid called me Jeeves once - grr! But I'm now at Oxford and most of them aren't - thank-you to all my A-Level teachers!

And all for £5 for 4 hours a day!
A landfill site!
Can you imagine a worse job than surveying a landfill site! When it was hot, it was really smelly. When it was cold it was REALLY cold. And walking through a big heap of other people's shit really sucks.
If at first you don't succeed, hit it with a bigger hammer.
My Mum said i would'nt like it, but i thought i new better. On my first day an old lady with dementia dragged me to the floor and kicked me in the stomach. This woman must have weighed 6 stone wet through, but she was still really strong! On another shift i had to take an old man up to get ready for bed, so i asked him if he washed himself or if we did. So he said no you do. So i gave him an all over wash which he seemed to quite enjoy! When i went back down stairs i was bollocked by the matron for taking so long, when i explained it was because i was giving him a wash she informed me that he always washed himself!
The final straw came when i was forced to take a old man to get ready for bed who had a habit of sitting and rubbing his dick all day. Anway i was helping him to undress and bent over to untie his shoes. All of a sudden i felt something wet hit my bag and i assumed he had pissed on me. But no, he'd wanked off on me! Needless to say i quit after the following shift!
Right can anybody beat that for a shitty job?
Although it has made me treat people who work on tills with much more respect after having to put up with the crap i did.

Damn KFC charge an extra 10 whole pence for mayo. The cheek! As for Mcdonalds, well there no better either. Asked for mayo once and it arrived in a little paper cup as if it had just been donated by a member of staff
First of all you have to try to imagine what the most boring thing is that you could imagine yourself doing for 8 hours straight... ok, everyone got something?
I sat and typed up transcripts of car accidents. I know this doesn't sound too bad but think about it- you sit in a little room all by yourself for 8 hours straight with ear phones on connected to the tape recorder. So there is no possible human interaction at all. Then you add on to that the fact that you're listening to statements where people continually lie about whose fault the accident was, how fast they were driving etc. And you know that someone must be lying because there's tapes from the claimant, the insured, and the witnesses.
I had to quit after a month because my sanity was in a dire state. Don't know if I fully recovered it though. Or maybe it just wasn't there to start with...?
Then Marks and Spencer,
*on my feet for 10 HOURS,
*plus they screwed me out of breaks (said I was 18 when I was only 17) and
*made me go in on days off for training, also
*sent me home one day with no pay for wearing the wrong shoes to work.
*Got wrong for talking to a friend (who also worked there) and
*got sent to another department away from the entrance to the store for spending too much time watching people in the mall outside (eh!?) then
* got my pay docked 20p for leaving the shop floor to phone my mum to see how my brother was following an operation
* Had my hours changed without me knowing and one of them forging my signature on the hours so that I was forced to work them
* Took 2 hours for me to get home because bus service was so bad (I live 15 minutes drive away but had to get two trains and three buses cos didn't hae a car at time)
But none of this is wrose than having some old man come in your face

You know those big widescreen tvs on the shelves, on display. How do you think they get there? because some poor skiv like me has to lift em. And at 100Kgs a piece, it isn't easy. Because of all the lifting I had to do, I developed constant pain in my back, and nearly collapsed from exhaustion and strain one day because of it. And how much did I get paid for all this??? £3.60 a bloody hour.
Talk about coincidence, one of my first ever jobs was sitting in one of those crappy cashier booths, giving out change to spotty little arcade machine addicts in the arcades at Hastings. The other, was being a cleaner on Hastings pier.
I was working in a service station, serving food and drinks, cleaning tables, working the till etc. The first week I was working with this girl, we got on great, she seemed really nice. The next week she was promoted on a trial basis and became the bitch from Hell.
I was made to do her work, plus my own, and when I sat down for a moments rest, she screamed at me and sent me to the managers office. A few days later she was watching me work, marched over to me, grabbed the broom I was using and proceeded to SHOW me how to sweep a f**cking floor!
She wasn't the only one, the amount of backstabbing that went on beggars belief, sheesh!
Rocket science it wasn't!
Anyhoo, when I left I let them know exactly what I thought of them, but methinks I'll refrain from repeating that here
9-5 i basically tagged clothes took of the packaging and then put them on a hanger for two weeks straight.
one day i even had to walk round the store not allowed to talk to anyone and pick up the clothes on the floor that customers jobs.
the staff always added 1/2 an hour to there breaks but i always had mine cut short, they played games and made me feel like a div!!!!
and of of this and i got nothing not even a thank you!!
hate topshop!! i couldnt go shopping for months after but thankfully i have recovered!
Anything to do with Eastbourne Pier is shite!
My most hated job is the one I do now! Giving out car insurance quotes. 7 hours of asking the same 52 questions over and over and over again - about 120 quotes a day. I hear the same jokes (i.e. Any medical conditions? Only the wife. tee hee.) Definately wears well thin. Been doing it for nearly 3 years as well!! Glutton for punishment! It's the onlt thing that keeps me in college - I'd die if I had to do it full time!
They kidnapped me at 9 in the morning and I got home at half 10 that night, I was on my feet all day walking around this little fucking town, didn't even let me stop for lunch I had to get a sandwich from the Late Shop and eat while I walked.
I didn't even ask for my pay, I just fucked off when we got back to Manchester.
HATEFUL SHOWER OF CUNTS< THEY ARE!!!!!
snoogens
THEY ARE HARSH STORIES LIKE!!
i had a job, where the pay was just £2per hour, i was 16........ i was doing just as much work as the other people, who where on £5 PH in the shop, anyway the manager told me my pay would go up to £3.50 PH, after 1 week,,, but it never!!
he said it was a mistake on the wages, and he would fix it, for next week,, so i said OK!!
again same thing happend!! i pulled him up about it in front of everyone, and told the guy
"i do just as much work in hear as any of these other people,, just because im younger than them it dosnt meen you can pay me any less"
and i demeanded £5 PH,,
he said "you can stuffed lad £3.50 PH, is plenty for a lad of your age"
(which it was) but it wasnt the point..... i wasnt doing any less work than the others,, i was probaly doing more!!
it was the principle of the matter......
anyway, i told him to "shove the job up ya ass mate, and ill be back tommora with me dad, to collect the wages you owe me"
HAHAAHA,, ,victory!!
