contraceptive injection???

i was reading a thread on the coil and someone brought up the injection. i have never heard about that before so i was just wondering did i get hold of the wrong end of the stick or is there such a thing???
just wondering coz i'm not happy with the pill and i think condoms are risky.

I think that was me maybe, anyway yes there is a contraceptive injection you can get. Lasts for about three months i think, you will have to speak to your doctor or the family planning clinic.

Yeah there is the injection......it basically means you have 4 a year and it covers pregnacy.... umm if i get time i'll chuck a site on 4 you......... unless karla wants toooooooooo

I'm pretty sure lads can have the injection as well but I don't know much information about it...
