I had my ears operated on yesterday and they're pretty sore! I've to keep the bandage on for 7-10 days, but does anyone know what'll help speed up the healing process?

i would sy just make sure you get plenty rest to allow your whole body to recover and make sure you are eating right to give your body the right nutrients to heal, so lots of veggies for you my dear. i odnt think there is any magic cure for faster healing.
    feel better soon x

plenty of rest definitely. Your body heals best when asleep.
    Also try Arnica http://www.kcweb.com/herb/arnica.htm

I had them pinned back :yippe: I've been waiting roughly 8 years,so I'm pretty chuffed. It's more painful than I expected though!

Nothing to really add, but plenty of rest. Chicken soup is meant to have anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. The protein in it will also help with the healing.

Bet you're looking forward to seeing the result! :D

Can't eat chicken soup, I'm vegetarian!

I'm bouncing off the walls, I'm so excited! Or at least, I would be if I had the energy :hyper: Cannot wait to see how they've turned out, it's all gonna be worth it :)

nothing, i shouldn't think. if the doctor says to leave them on for that long, then you'll have to. taking them off any earlier might hinder the healing process. i've had countless ear operations :\

not really. just leave them to heal on their own. don't fidget with them. :p

Yes,cos if he was in my situation I'd support him regardless of my personal opinion on what he'd done cos that's what couples do - they support each other.

I've waited 8 years for this, I found ways of hiding my ears!
