My Mum had an operation today, and she's not long been out of hospital. She's very weak and been sleeping all day, so I made her tea with help from MoonRat. She just phoned me on her mobile from her bedroom to tell me how lovely it was and to thank me, which I thought was sweet :)

To give the thread a point, what's made you smile today?

    Getting a strike at bowling. Although I sucked pretty much for the rest of the games..but blah.

    Also standing in the pouring rain with two friends, yet still being able to have fun.

    Seeing my baby today on an ultrasound scan and then finding out that she's a little girl definitely made me smile :)

    Um...Arrested Development made me smile today and thinking of how excited my friend is about going to Burkina Faso, despite it not sounding like one of the most exciting places in the world.

    one of the ladies in accounts is a year older, so we all had cream cakes :hyper:
