I do dread to think what this is doing to race relations though, I was speaking to some relatively open minded friends of mine from Eastern Europe and they seriously were suggesting packing all the Muslim immigrants off 'back home'. When you consider that the election result was a refelection of that and the Spanish Govt support for the war in Iraq (even though the majority of the population were against it) gives you the reason why he supported the outcome.
