    Well we all know that northerners and those on the celtic fringes have always been mroe left wing and as a consequence more accepting of state power.

    Not that it matters anyway, most of the North is a shithole.

    The northern cities are still dumps in comparrison with south coast cities. The north is very nice - just not where the Northerners have set up camp - that's even more true of Wales.

    Plus Northerners are fatter. :p
