Shroom flashback?

A friend of mind did shrooms a couple of weeks ago and she recently had a flashback.. or something like that. She had been at home all day so no chance of drink spiking or nethin like that. She sed she started to feel high and see things, very paranoid etc.

Is this a possible side effect from shrooms?

    A trip isn't something you forget in a hurry so it's possible, I've had it with acid before but not shrooms. Anxiety and paranoia can be one side effect especially if things went bad during the trip or it was strong.

    Shouldn't be anything to worry about and over time you get back to normal but tell her to avoid taking anything that might bring on paranoia for a while.

    Flashbacks are not caused by the drug, the hallucination is a strong mental experience, and much like if someone has a car crash or similar it is imbeded on the mind.

    Then if you see something or feel something similar then the mind has a wierd habit of bringing forward that memory and re-playing it.
