    It's due to a number of posters asking for their posts to be completely deleted. Unlike when posts are individually deleted the post counts don't refresh, so when a major poster, who has started many threads has their posts and all the posts in their threads removed the count doesn't refresh. This has built up over a few months and it needed to be sorted.

    In future it'll happen at the same time the posts are deleted so you shouldn't see such a chunk removed again.

    Does that mean that anyone who received a T-Shirt/Mouse Mat/New Car for getting to the respective post counts whose count has now been reduced below that count will have to hand back their goodies?

    well erm no, but i could start an emergency fund for those who may get deprived of tshirts

    i have 3 and i aint even passed 5,000 yet, though i expect to get one of the new ones when i do

    Last time they did this I lost like 2000 posts, I never got them back either! Mainly because I wasnt as addicted to this place anymore...
