Pain killers and alcohol

Which pain killer can you take with alcohol? My knees are killing me and I'm going out to a place where I would get free champaine. I know there is a type of pain killer thats allowed to be mixed if alcohol is in moderation.

Need a quick reply thanks:)

Paracetamol is best avoided, it does nasty things in the liver with alcohol, though thats really only in big doses.

Stick with Ibruprofen, its the better option, though dont over do it.
