Hey yall
well i was just curious about ecstasy, i dont take any drugs, and im proud of this, but in clubs, i have been offered some E and ive always refused. i want to take some, just to experiment, but im scared that i will become addicted. so if i take one tablet, what will it do to me and will i become adicted? or is it safe to have a try without any problems?

You can't get physically adicted to ecstacy. You can get physchologically adicted where you feel like you can't go out and have a good time without one. I have taken loads and I can still go out and have a good time without being on one. In my opinion they are perfectly safe as long as you are wise. Obviously don't over do it with the water and take a rest from time to time just to chill out. If you do take one don't sit there scared stiff about dieing because it just spoils it and it is pointless taking it. You have to go with the flow and have the time of your life. If I was you I would take cannabis first just to get you used to drugs even though they are worlds apart. Make sure your friends know you have taken ecstacy too but tell them not to freak out at the slightest little change in your behaviour. If you can take one with someone who has done loads just to put your mind at rest if you have any concerns during the trip. It is proberly best to take half a pill for your first time just to get you used to it.

I think patboy has soom good advice there. Ive taken fuck knows how many pills too and am constantly being asked to be there with people who r trying for their first time. I think its quite important to be with someone who has taken them b4 as they can talk u through it and answer any questions. Also they can help u get in the mood and the right frame of mind which is really important is u ask me. Loads of people take em and think that itll just happen and they sit there waiting to come up on it. Dont do this or u will get a shitty nite with hardly any buzz. U gotta go with it and let it happen, dont think about it once youve popped it. Also Id advice u not to take one u buy in a club. If u know a friend or a friend of a friend this is a better option. It is unlikely u will by a pill in a club thats gonna kill u (there r loads of stories bout that, also loads of bullshit ones!!!) altough its very likely if u buy of someone u dont know, u will end up taking a paracetamol! Trust me, your r at risk of taking a pill that does fuck all if u do that. Hope this is good advice and helps u make the right decisions. I could have done the "dont take them at all coz u will love them" part but dont c the point. If u wanna do em u will do em whatever anyone says to ya. Hope u have a good nite and b very carefull.

U can't get addicted to Ecstacy itself...
As phatboy said u do get like taking it to have a good time but it's only like alcohol style.
I've taken a couple of thousand pills probably and have definatley been through the point of taking them everyday to have a laugh but most ppl dont get that far.
Personally I'm bored of them now... Kinda got to the point I was more used to pilling than not pilling. Definately try them and do half for a first time, if u like which u probably will u should do em. There not really harmful, they're not addictive and there definately a laugh.

f u've had the will power not to give in up till now, then why r u letting urself down and trying it?
just 'trying' it dosnt make it safe and u could still die due 2 it.
u should b proud not to have 'done it' up till now, dont give in, as u may regret it.

u obv havent read my other drug related posts, people can do drugs if they want, i dont give a shit, its just a shame when peeps waste their life on em, and die cause of em. i was just sayin in my last post that if hes resisted so far, then why give in?
but i think that others and u finally have proved to me that druggies r all basically the same with shit attitudes and personalities, and dont respect the views of others who dont think drugs r a good thing.
i thought drugs were to 'space ' u out and make u a 'cool man' and all that bollox, so get off ur high horse,and leave those with will power and self control, or even those who have or r giving up alone, i just have pity 4 u.

What do you mean bollocks about spacing you out. Some do, esp. LSD and weed. You must know that. Why are you so angry? Don't forget we are all here for each other on this board, if we do drugs or not. You gotta accept others way of life. We are all well educated, I am an A-level computer programmer, will soon be setting up my own business, and I couldn't have done it without weed which really opened up my mind and ambitions, LSD helped too. I currently own a video shop and sell cars and make a good profit by selling cheap ones for more that I got them. also my addictions made me realise how lucky I am and to live life to the max, maybe doing more drugs but not getting addicted. I am spaced out and love live.

If you ever fall into trouble you know Im here for you with any advice I can offer. Its not a good idea to get on the wrong side of anyone. Even if you do disagree with them.

Yeah I'm back proper.. on at home as well...
Have to admit yeah I'm a bit of a fuck up.... I've fucked around loads when I could've been at college learning shit..
If I had a choice of not going back in time and doing college properly the first time around and not go out n expierience life a bit I wouldn't change a thing.
I'm at college now studying computers... I'm getting good grades and I might b a year behind but in that year I did more than u'll ever do in ur shitty little closeted life...
Ur at Uni... well done yu must b proud of what ur gonna do in ur life...
Get born.. startt school at 5.... finish at 21 or whatever... get a 9-5 job till ur 65 retire n sit in ur house nitting n playing bingo on a tuesday night.. To be honest that just sounds like shit.... at least I can say I've expierienced a bit off life, u may call it fucking up I call it living.

daze, i didnt mean to offend u, nor get on the wrong side of u.
i just think that we can all have r own views, and i dont like it when were called do-gooders, just cause we choose not to do drugs. i respect ur decision to do drugs,as every1 chooses to live their life their own way.
i hope college goes well 4 u and u achieve what u want.
and also, i am quite happy with the life ive lived so far, and the career im following will definately not b 9-5pm. i hopefully wanna b a paramedic.

thanx 4 sayin u'll b there 4 me, i know weve had this dissagreement b 4, and u taught me not to b so judge mental, but as u can c it still gets 2 me sometimes, only because im caring and dont want to c people become seriously ill from drugs and die, but i suppose i'd better get used to it.

Good to see you again "Dirty-Harry", I sure wish I got offered free drugs at clubs. We generally either try to passively 'take over' a pub & then drop the E, or just go Hell Bent for 'meat-pies' amongst the regular patrons. Theme nights are always fun too, whatever, no worries. To each his/her own...

Nah havn't tried em Harry..... seem everywhere in Britain get's different pills... I done like over 50 different types(that I can remember) most different effects.. try to stick away from Mitzis personally... they're not usually that good round here

Yep totally agree on the Mitsie thing dirty_harry. However just got a hold of some little pinkies (as ive named them myself <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">) and they seem to b goin down very well on the drugs market. So well infact, that I had practically the whole of Camden Palace on em in the end the other week! Shame I cant experience them for myself though. Am truly missing out on all these new little fellas that r coming round lately (being pregnant and all, ive decided to lay of the pill popping!).
Anyway, SUMbody, just wanted to add that E's r ok and u will love em when u r on them. But if u have suffered from depression, concider how u will cope with a bad comedown. If u think there is anyway feeling shitty may really affect u then Id strongly advise u not to bother taking them, just in case!

Ecstasy is not physically addictive and not especailly mentally addictive, it all depends on your personality. But none the less I would suggest trying it as it is quite possible one of the best experiences you'll ever have.
