I've been prescribed some antibiotics for some infected wounds and have to take 500mg 4 times a day. I think it's Flucloxacillin (or something like that).
It says it has to be taken 1/2-1 hour before food or on an empty stomach.

Just wondering....how long after food should I be able to take them, since I forgot and ate something and need to take my 4th dose...

    really sorry, i should have done a search before. found some websites with info on this drug and one says 1 hour before food or 2 hours after, so i've answered my own question! sorry! :thumb:
